  • Even though it's 6:00 am, Jim is excited to be on another game drive.
  • This morning's breakfast is impala.
  • The antler's are the best part . . .
  • We see a lot of these dead trees - killed by elephants removing the bark with their tusks.
  • We've covered the terrain enough times, we're starting to get a sense of where we are.  We're tracking our friends the lion family.
  • Today's sunrise won't be as spectacular because the sky is clear.
  • But there is a moonset.  It was the final night of a full moon.

  • Notice how Simbas has to run to keep up with his elders.
