  • We're about to meet the most amazing lions who entertained for every single drive we had left on our safari.<br /> <br /> The cub here is 6 months old, and is about to meet up with mama.
  • Mama has just come back from the hunt with her mother and sister, and they are gathering their young for breakfast.
  • This is the two month old cub who stole our hearts. He will definitely be king of the jungle (or bush veldt, as the case may be).
  • We were worried by this sore on his side, but the ranger said lions get those all the time and heal within a few a days.
  • Mom with sister, mother, child and nephew/niece off for breakfast.
  • The posse on the march.
  • Little Simba has to run in order to keep up with his mother's slow gate!
  • These impala are very thankful that the lions have breakfast waiting for them.
  • Simba stops to check on us every now and then. He knows he's cute. He knows we're watching. And he rarely missed a chance to pose.
  • OK, we're keeping up, so he can join the rest.
  • Breakfast in the bush.
  • Lions don't use napkins.
  • Yummy!
  • But little Simba, not having been weaned yet, is more interested in cuddles and cuteness.
  • These lions really put their heads into it.
  • As long we don't steal breakfast, we're tolerated.
