From Walt Disney's LA

  • Close-up of Dwarfs under Duress, and the ubiquitous mouse ears.
  • More mouse.
  • The Animation Building - I wonder if it's significant that it's across the street and no longer on property?
  • Connecting bridge between the Disney Studios and the ABC building, designed to look like an unraveling roll of film.
  • St. Joseph's Hospital - across the street from the studio, where Walt died on December 15, 1967. The Disney family are major benefactors.
  • Unlike other studios, Disney's buildings have a modern and artistic look.
  • The main administration building built by Michael Eisner. I can't help but think he kidnapped the dwarves from their happy workplace in the mines and forced them to hold up the roof until Snow White becomes as profitable as Lion King.
  • Walt's grave at Forest Lawn, Glendale.
  • The Main Gate of the Disney Studios in Burbank, CA. Notice the mural on the facade of the building.

  • A Closeup of Walt's grave.
  • The family had these trees planted to hide Walt's grave so people like me wouldn't come by and stare.
  • The side gate of The Disney Studios.
  • The Freedom Mausoleaum, final resting place of the remains of many Hollywood greats. Walt's grave is behind the trees to the left.
  • Probably the best grave of all at Forest Lawn, at least for a romantic schmalzy kind of guy like me. We should all be so lucky.

  • Amity, Long Island from Jaws.

  • Generic European street.
  • Bruce the Shark makes his appearance.
